About the Author

I am Kimberly Hamilton, a fifth-grade bilingual teacher at Finney Elementary School, San Diego, CA, (Chula Vista Elementary School District). I created this site as part of the SCORE Web Institute at the San Diego County Department of Education.

I enjoy teaching, computers, music and art. I dislike slow-loading web pages. (I apologize for any contained herein.)

During this 4-month (weekends and evenings) undertaking, I traveled for the first time to Boston and Minute Man National Historical Park. I walked the Freedom Trail, was welcomed into Paul Revere's house, and followed Battle Road from Lexington to Concord. I emerged with a deeper appreciation of the individuals and events that formed our nation's history.

I created this website with Adobe PageMill 3.0, Photoshop 4.0 LE, and a Macintosh G3.
