Christ Episcopal
The Old North Church

Christ Church, with its tall steeple, was an important building in the life of Paul Revere.

As a young boy, Paul was a bell-ringer here--- even though his family attended a different church each Sunday and probably did not approve of his job.

Later, this was the church that became famous for the two lanterns that gave the signal that the British were coming by sea.

Longfellow called this church "The Old North Church", but in Paul's day it was called Christ Church.
